The ISB, Hyderabad and Muslims of Hyderabad!!

Asak!! I have been to the Indian School of Business as a participant once, once as a volunteer, once as a guest and each time I can't stop saying wow as I go around the campus. But my very recent visit to the school has given me a bad patch, so as to say.

The ISB's land of 260 acres is about 4 times the land allotted to the ISB's Mohali campus, which stands at 70 Acres. Whose land was this and why was so much land given a to a so called N-F-P organisation, but which has the backing of the who's who of the corporate world.

Why was Mr. Naidu in such a hurry to give such a huge chunk of land to this very institute which had no proven track record @ the time it was asked to be established.  It is told in some sections of the Muslim society that the Land in and around the Madhapur region ( Most of it) was WAQF assets but we have no whereabouts of it. Further, the lanco hills issue is a very known one.

Once around Gachibowli, a real son of the soil ( Hyderabadi ) can't stop feeling that big disconnect with all the great establishments in and around this area and the surrounding areas of Hitech city and Kondapur, save a few.

Also, even when land for  JBMIT of Mumbai was allotted , it was categorically told that they had to maintain a some quota for the locals. And why not the case with ISB?

Further, how many Muslims have actually got into ISB and of those, how many were local Muslim lads.

With three of the founding fathers of ISB found to be guilty of some or the other economic offence, is it wise to continue being quiet and watching the play??

This is not the only sorry plight of Muslims by some institution, the list stretches NEWS-----

The questions and curiosity is endless but we need to find the answers...
